So far this Shars indicator and base have been amazing and accurate,the base isn't as strong as my Noga,but still works well

Only one problem, first the tool is nice for the cost. The first couple of threads on the base were broke out of the casting and the post was sideways and barely threaded to what was left of the threads. It looks like the post could of been threaded in a lot deeper from the manufacturer and this wouldn’t of happened in its travels. I will try again and see what happens.

I didn't tighten it very hard and I heard a click. I couldn't clamp my indicator so I took apart the mechanism to find out it snapped at the thinnest point . . . cheaply made . . . pay for what you get

135 pound holding weight, What a Joke. It barely holds itself to bare steel. Other than that it's decent
