Shars Tool 3" 90 degree Face Mill with APKT Insert
Benefit from the 90-degree lead angle allows efficient square shoulder milling and the ability to machine workpieces with weak structures or thin walls over a 45-degree face mill. It uses an industry-standard APKT/APMT 1604 insert with a positive 11-degree clearance angle and depth of cut of 0.551" or 14mm. The insert pockets are designed to be 19 degrees positively inclined to minimize vibration and allow fast cutting and lowering cutting noise.
- Fitted with 10-degree positive rectangular inserts allow the high depth of cut and feed per tooth
