Works well. Fairly rigid and inserts are cheap and easily replaced. No issues using it on a manual lathe.

I used this on a manual machine to id thread. wouldn't hesitate to put in our cnc lathe .

I've used Shars tools for years and they have always been a good reliable product, also appreciate shars putting the Info on the tool like cutter, torx and screw size.

SHARS sells junk products and a has very bad customer service department. Be aware there are MUCH better companies to do business with!
