Good quality. Shaves ice pretty close to Hawaiian ice but much more shaved then snow cone. Definitely buy extra bowls to make it convenient. You need ice frozen in those bowls. Since syrups you buy aren't cheap. I freeze soda , coolaid, fruit drinks, etc.

This is a really simple machine and fairly easy to use and clean. The mold it comes with is a bit small and doesn't easily let go of the ice. The shaved ice is finer than Hawaiian shaved ice, but not fluffy like the Korean bingsu. Another drawback is that it stops shaving the piece of ice about at a cm width. Considering that the mold isn't that large in the first place, it seems a little silly. The little disc of ice after is kind of a waste...

Works like a charm. Just been freezing fruit juices and shaving them up. Add another little splash of juice at the end and stir it up for a sorbet consistency. Also easy to clean. just rinse it off after use. You can remove a plate at the bottom that reveals holes for water to drain through which makes Rinsing easier. I just got rid of the plate, not really necessary to keep in there

This is a pretty good ice shaver I’ve had it a couple weeks after week one the lil cup for making the ice puck cracked and is sadly leaking liquid. I found a mall bowl that works pretty well. I’ve been freezing Jumex fruit nectars, cold brew coffee, & it works well.

I was skeptical that this thing could make fluffy bingsu but i was pleasantly surprised! it comes with one ice mold that you have to use if you want really fluffy ice but im sure you could find other containers to use as molds. if you make an ice puck of bingsu base (1-8 sweetened condensed milk and regular milk) you'll get soft barely crunchy mounds of sweet snow! i've tried other ice shavers and this is the cheapest one that can get this kind of result.

Just not worth the time nor money. Spend the money on a decent one. This was like a dollar store ice shaver. Not sturdy, falls apart, hard to use.. just everything you can think that would go wrong.. does.

The shaver works quite well and makes fine flakes of ice on fully frozen ice pucks. I recommend looking for extra silicone ice molds so you can have some on hand that are the right size. The perfect size is 3.5 inches across.
