I got this on a whim after my old official Leatherman leather belt pouch died due to lack of oiling the leather. I figured what the heck, it's not too expensive so if it turn out to be a bust I wouldn't care. Turns out the plastic is plenty durable and the design works quite well to 1: retain the knife in the sheath, 2: retain the sheath on the belt, 3: present the knife easily to the hand, 4: allow one-handed retrieval of the knife. My only complaints are that it looks a bit tacky and the knife rattles in the case a bit. It's probably not great for lefties either due to the locking slot placement. As a right-handed renewable natural gas plant maintainer and operator, I can deal with that.

It might be just because I'm a lefty and keep my multitool on that side of my body, but the part that locks everything in was just a bit too much when also fighting gravity. Filing the retaining bump down slightly fixed the issue, so just keep that in mind.

This feels sooooooo cheap I can't believe I paid more than a $1 for it! How am I suppose to trust my over $100 Wave to this?!? Does the Wave fit? Why yes it does. Locks in great. Now try and remove it! It's incredibly hard to remove your tool once you insert it! Thank god for Amazon's easy return policy. Buyer beware - don't buy this!

Very dependable, very cool, looking very sturdy. Hard plastic, this didn't fit my specific multitool but had I had Leatherman, this would work. Although I return this item.I had a liking to it right off the bat.

Does not latch very well to wide belts. Tends to easily spin from one position to another. It is plastic

Title says it, wear it every day 50-70 hours a week at a surface mine, in equipment, crawling under belts and over conveyors. (locked out of course) shoveling, climbing ect, and haven't broke it yet, haven't lost my leatherman, and other than a few times with it digging into my side while in tight spots I have no complaints. The swivel belt clip and the locking feature for the leatherman make this worth the price and a must get.Don't think I can find anything that would work better. My tool is always accessible, and since its comfortable I always have it on me.
