Got this handle to replace the original one that didn’t have a key to lock the shed. Installed in a few minutes, fit the same as the original handle and has worked fine.

To say I wasn’t excited to get this is an understatement. I ran out to the chicken coop and got going on the install. It was easy to install, don’t lose those small Allen keys provided. It works perfectly and I couldn’t be happier.

The handle came with the swing arc for a left hand door, so I had to take it apart and flip the tabbed washer to work for my situation. No big deal, but I had the tools to do that.It would be nice if the rod were 6 or 7 inches long instead of 5, because the lock nut is just barely on there but again, that is probably just my situation. Other than those points, the lock and everything else works fine - came with 5 keys and 2 key chains that are actually pretty nice. Durability looks to be pretty good. Had to drill the hole to 11/16 for about a quarter inch as the lock mechanism spins and is inset to the surface. I'm just happy to have a working handle/lock again!

I did need to come back to the listing to figure out how to get the rod to stay in the handle. Turns out that’s what the tiny Alan wrench is for! It’s not the world’s most sturdy lock. I wouldn’t put it out facing an alley or anything. But it’s enough to tell someone “stay out of my stuffâ€, which it does well. Got this to keep contractors from using/breaking/taking my tools after many offenses. Wish I’d done it sooner!
