Analog Marking Error-free Installation
Simulate the install position of lock and Mark the drilling position.
Use a 3/8-inch drill bit to drill the main lock lever holes in the mark.
Install T & D handle, and finally fix them with a wrench and thread.

I have a small shed that I think is manufactured by Rubbermaid. It was missing the handle when I received it so I have just done my best to keep the doors secured in the closed position until now. This locking latch handle is just what the doctor ordered. I had to drill a hole to accommodate the square post that links the handle to the latching/locking piece. From there the installation was simple, just securing the outer handle to the door with the included screws and the setting the latching mechanism in position using the included set screws. Because my shed is basically plastic, the locking feature on this knob isnรขโฌโขt too helpful. (The whole shed could be taken down with a few good kicks so no need to lock the door.). However the latch works great and now I donรขโฌโขt have to worry about the doors blowing open every time the weather gets nasty. The handle is solid and well made. Iรขโฌโขm sure on a wooden door the lock would be useful and secure.

Hubby and I live on a wildlife preserve, and we have a large shed that looks like a cabin. We are going to set it up in an area in the woods and create a rustic "cabin", so we wanted to have a good door latch on it. This one will do quite nicely, it is strong and heavy duty and looks rustic, so it's a win-win for us. A great buy!

Quality lock, very easy to install. It took me less than five minutes. I wouldรขโฌโขve given it five stars, however, of the four keys that came with, each one of them needs manipulated to get them to turn and unlock the door.It is my hope in time that the lock tumbler will loosen up and it will become easier to unlock the door. The sane thing happened with the new locking gas cap I bought for my truck. Neither key would turn then after some time it got easier and easier to unlock.

Well constructed, heavy duty, lock for storage sheds. Although this lock was ultimately not used since I didn't want to take the time to modify my barn doors, the quality is overall very good. If you have a gap in the studs like my doors do, you will need to bridge the gap with additional wood for this lock to work. Metal doors likely work the best without the need for modification.

This is a very standard shed door latch that works just as described. It's easy and quick to install, provides some flexibility for mounting options, and includes four keys, which is a nice addition. Overall this is a great value if you want to add a locking mechanism to a shed door or a gate, and includes everything necessary to get it going. Feels reasonably solid once installed as well. Great!

The lock itself seems to be of good quality. It comes with several keys, and the interior locking part can be set to a custom fit using some hex screws and an included allen wrendh.I got it because the photos showed several sheds that look like ours. However, you should know that if you have a double door on your shed, you may need to add things to make it work. I had to add a block of wood to the frame above the doors on the inside to prevent the doors from opening too far inside, and one of those barrel bolts to keep one door closed so that the lock can be sturdy against the other door. After that, all worked well.
