What we should pay attention to?
· Our sheep shear is designed for sheep, llamas, alpacas and large dogs with thick coat and coarse hair. Not small animals.
· Before use ,please add proper amount of lubricating oil to the injection hole of the machine head, and prepare a dish of soapy water next to it to cool the blade, so as to avoid excessive temperature of the blade and scald the sheep.
· Regularly check the use of the carbon brushes of the machine and replace the carbon brushes in time. There is a dust-proof net at the air outlet of the machine, please clean it in time to ensure the heat dissipation of the machine.
· Adding lubricating oil can effectively prevent the blade from jamming, prolong the service life of the machine, and trim wool smoothly

These clippers worked perfectly on Molly our long haired dog. In the past we had bought every kind of animal clipper, and always got frustrated with how bad of a job they done and would end up cutting her hair with scissors. I decided to give these a try and was blown smack dap away. As fast as I could push these babies would cut a streak. They are plenty powerful. Some have said they are noisey, and they do make some noise. I don't know is Molly was so relieved to get a haircut and get the matted spots off her bottom that she didn't even care if they made noise. Molly was only bothered by the noise when cutting up around her head. However, I cannot alone place blame on the noise the clippers makes, because she doesn't like the scissors any better around her head. They seem like they are well made. Easy to clean after each cutting. I am happy, and if you are getting these for a dog that you have had a hard time finding a clipper that will cut their fine, thick hair, I believe you will be happy too.

They are great clippers and certainly get through the thick hair on a Saint Bernard but they are pretty heavy and big. You have to cut carefully as they can easily cut through almost anything. They were however the only ones that worked on really thick dog hair. The only reasons for the 4 stars was the weight and size as the tool performed very well.They really cut the hair short so expect a very short cut and use them carefully. I cut in 3 separate sessions to give our dog a break as he is pretty old and also to give me a break from leaning over him to cut. Usually it would take days to get him cut but within an hour I was done.

Got these to sheer our 4 sheep we recently got, we had never done it before as we are New to sheep, but they did what they were meant to do and did a pretty decent job at that. Us being new to it it wasn't exactly perfect for pretty but it was done lol.Cut really nicely and fairly easy once you get used to it, seems durable and like it should last us a while. Nice storage case that included everything we needed. Was easy to clean afterwards and didn't seem to overheat in use.

I wasn’t sure they would work and I was a little hesitant using them at first but they were so easy to use and work very quickly on my poodle.

I bought these clippers less than 3 months ago to shave my 30 year old horse who has Cushings Disease which causes a horse to continue to grow long hair even in summer time. Used the 1st day I got them. Had some troubles but was finally able to get the job done. Kept them oiled and cooled. Cleaned when finished. Got them out today because he needed clipping again. Started to cut a little hair and then nothing. I looked at them and noticed one of the clamp holder forks had broken off. Only has a 30 day warranty which has passed by about 2 months. Cannot find anywhere to buy replacement parts, as a matter of fact no information on company or clippers except buying through Amazon.. Will not buy again and will not recommend these to anyone. I do not consider these heavy duty clippers as a throw away product at $80. Very dissatisfied.

My horse doesn't have cushings, but his winter coat is very thick and grows in every direction, especially the undercoat which looks like matted rabbit fur. I should have clipped him in November, but didn't get to it until mid Febuary. Our winters are short and spring heats up fast. I have large horse body clippers and a variety of smaller clippers, all using 10 blades and I literally could not get any hair to cut. I bought these out of desperation and they worked great! Be very careful using the tension knob. The directions say the clippers will heat up when the tension knob is at the highest. They really aren't kidding. One short pass and the blades almost burned my hand. I kept the tension around medium and that worked fine. I also used reuseable ice packs to cool the blades instead of running them underwater like recommened. Also if the tension knob gets too tight and won't budge, wrap a paper towel around it for grip and use a large enough socket wrench to loosen it. The results came out very nice. At first there were tracks everywhere, but it turned out to just be dust tracks. A quick bath took the tracks away. Excellent value, work well

Have only a half dozen sheep to be shorn. Too many for a non expert to remove the fleeces with a hand shears so we got this. It works great. Use plenty of oil to keep lubricated. It did the job well despite the inexperienced operator.

I bought these to groom my dog who is a poodle mix and needs to be shaved in the summer. They work like a dream. They glide through his thick hair like butter. Have been super reliable too.
