I have purchased these bags twice already. They are thin but they serve the purpose. I use them in my bathroom trash cans. I also bring several to the grocery store so that refrigerated and frozen items do not wet or stain my reusable bags.

I bought my plastic bags specifically for scooping a cat's littler box. It is a convenient way of disposing of used litter. The bags are also good for holding containers of food. I use a lot of these size bags and save grocery bags too. With this purchase I never run out. I bag garbage when I am cooking, tie it up every night and dispose of it. This beats struggling with huge garbage bags I can no longer pick up. They are strong and effective.

I support eliminating as much plastic as possible and welcome the bag bans that have been levied in my state. However, our sanitation department system is not yet designed to pick up all trash and garbage in uncontained condition so I am happy to have found these bags.They are the perfect size for collecting all manner of yuck including cat litter, wet coffee grounds, and stuff destined for the garbage disposal that we no longer use. I noticed criticisms about the bags tearing but so far hasn't happened to me. Maybe my garbage just doesn't have sharp enough edges! Appreciate the handles too.

I traditionally bought the regular size and mil. T Shirt plastic bags that they give in stores ( everywhere but NJ). These bag are smaller and rip easier. Live and learn. I'll get the better ones next time.
