Was easy to assemble and was perfect for what we needed but broke after 2 months.

This product ships as four pieces that you screw together. It only took a couple of minutes to put together. I use mine to hang solar lanterns on. They are sturdy enough to hold them with no leaning. They are durable and easily moved if necessary.

Bought these to hang some solar lanterns from and they work great! Just the right height for giving the lanterns a nice low glow.

Love these. We have ordered twice. Very satisfied with the quality and the versatility. In the picture, please note: the anole lizard doesn’t come with your purchase. 😉😉

Update: not surprisingly, a pole this tall and skinny will not stay plumb with any wind once even a small birdhouse is mounted. Ours is at about 8' and the pole keeps shifting more each day. It rotates with the wind and looks like it's about to fall over. I don't recommend going over 6' with something this skinny. If it were an inch in diameter (per description), it might have done better. Downgrading from 4 to 1 star for this specific pole. We cannot use it for its intended purpose, and would return it if we still had the packaging. We purchased this pole to mount a bird house on top and a camera feeder part of the way up. The box contained 6 threaded rods (5 male+female and 1 female+female), a mounting bracket for the top, an x-shaped base, and 5 stakes (one large, for the center of the base and 4 small). The large stake was threaded to screw into the center of the base, while the others had one nut apiece. There were no instructions, but the majority of the assembly process is rather obvious. It's important to note that the threaded rods are not 1" in diameter as described, but more like 3/4". Also, it seems as if there should have been 4 more nuts to properly secure the 4 small stakes. We didn't have any on hand, so will use the nuts supplied on top of the stakes to hold down the baseMachining tolerances were pretty tight on the threaded rods, so it took a little patience to put the pole together. A bit of oil or WD40 might have helped. A pole this tall shows if anything is not plumb when it's installed.I wish the pole had been an inch in diameter and think it's not a good value. Save your money and buy something better.

No assembly instructions but pretty intuitive. Have to tighten nut on base after you unfold to make +. Assemble is easy. I didn’t use all of the extension poles but have a couple extra if needed. Make sure all of the poles are tight against one another. Looks like this will last. Stable when secured in the ground.

I am using this shepherd hook to hold a plant. It comes with 4 pieces that you screw on. When the wind blew the hook and plant to the ground, one of the stems broke off. So I am either going to throw one of the pieces away or see if glue can hold it together. If not, I will have a shorter shepherd hook. It appears this hook is not very sturdy or of good quality.
