I’ve used this a couple times and it worked great. Brake bleeding is a touchy operation and I stripped a thread on my first go. That was somewhat expensive to properly repair but I did have a work-around that got me through. I did better the next couple times. My preference is to bring the bike to the shop but sometimes the shop is too backed up. This makes a decent option when that happens.

All the tools necessary were in the box. They all fit well and worked well. Shimano is a great brand known for its quality.

Overall, this kit can be replaced by any shimano compatible chinesium bleeding kit...bar for that "new" and unique metal insert that secures the silicone hose on the caliper side...If you have no bleeding kit and you want the best for Shimano's brakes, worths it.If you do have a more versatile 3rd party kit that covers other brands but you still want the best for shimano, still consider it.

It worked as intended and will work on all three of my bikes with Shimano hydralic brake systems.

I checked all the local bike shops for a brake bleeder kit and this was the best one I could find that I knew was going to work. The local bike shops prices were about 30 bucks more. I’m all about buying local but this was a way better deal.The kit fit my Shimano Deore BR-M615 caliper and the BL-M615 lever perfectly.I’m a happy camper, er, biker ;)

Bleeds most Shimano brakes. I knew it didn’t come with the adapter to modern road brake levers for the cup. It also doesn’t come with a bleed block that fits Ultegra/GRX calipers. Still 1/2 the price of the park tool kit though.
