My mom is 96 yo and for a couple days, I watched her struggle to get out of her recliner chair. So I bought one of these, and it is very comfortable and really does help her to be able to get out of the chair easier. This is a great thing for anyone with elderly parents who do sit in a recliner chair. Makes me happy knowing that she struggles less.

This cushion has been in daily use since I purchased this over a month ago. Bright side is it is firm enough to give some support if you need that, but it's really stiff still even after what should be a solid break in period. Good if you need extra firm, but I was hoping it would be a little softer. I do like that it's easy to wash the cover and that it has anti slip on the bottom, though. For reference, I am 180 lbs and should sink into it a little, but it barely moves under my weight. The good news about the stiffness is that it will last a long time. You'll have to decide if the longevity of the cushion is worth sacrificing comfort for. I will be replacing it with something more comfortable in the future but it works for now. Hope this review helps you.

My mother needed this for extra height in her recliner seat. Low chairs are difficult for her--when sitting and when getting up.This cushion is a perfect size for her. It fits her recliner beautifully. The height is great and firm. (It's not firm as in being uncomfortable; it gives good support.)The color of the cover was one of the big reasons we purchased this cushion. This walnut brown matches her recliner, so it looks nice, even for company.I'd recommend this cushion to anyone who needs extra height in a chair. You won't regret it.

This cushion fit my recliner perfectly. After sitting for an hour I got up and my back was straighter then it's been in a long time. I stood tall and was in no pain
