LOVE this product!! Originally used these with oil based crayons but now use for removing excess foil from images. Short, stiff bristles on those, longer, softer bristles on others in the set, perfect for adding glazing wac to embossed images. All in all, an extremely versatile brush set!!

I LOVE these freaking things. I use them for making shirts and they work just perfectly. I love the different sizes, they clean well, and don't (or at least, haven't yet) rust (and I rinse them out and let them air dry on the drainboard, so there's opportunity to do so...). I will get more of these!

They are perfect for getting into small stencil crevices that are sometimes not reached with a large brush. They are firm and do not cause bleeding under the stencil.

I bought these for their short bristles, to use on fabric. I assumed they were the same length as standard stencil brushes, 6", so I expected the diameter of the large brush to be about 3/4". Instead the large brush is is just over 4" long and the diameter is less than 1/2". The small brushes are only of use if one is trying to paint a very small area. Also, the handles are quite short and could be tiring for those with large hands. The large brush did a good job on my project and I can recommend the quality of the product. However, I think the photo should show the scale more accurately. I didn't even think of checking the specs because stencil brushes tend to be 6" long.

Works amazing with my Gelatos, easily cleaned, and still holds it together after many cleaning and uses.

Which can only be a good thing, since they are intended to be used with Shiva PaintStiks (which are sticks of oil paint, that provide a very firm creamy paint once you peel the dried "skin" off the stick). I have not used these yet, but I have used my PaintStiks directly onto fabric, and know that I need something to help me blend the colors! I tried other brushes I had around, and they were all too soft, or too large (yep, I tried an unused big boar bristle brush, like you might use to clean your cars tires or scrub canvas... it was stiff enough, but it was too huge to do the blending I wanted).I'm looking forward to using these on some fabric that I intend to make a purse with.

These were the perfect brushes for gelatos and pastels. The short bristles make it really easy to control where the product is going. These can also be easily cleaned with just a bit of water and wiping them off on a towel.
