Hands down the best for upper and lower braces! It does take getting used to and to get broke in so I recommend wearing it prior to the day you need it! My son says it is hard to breathe in at first and it causes his lips to dry out until he breaks it in. None of my boys have had broken brackets with these!!

I came in as a rookie once buying these guards. Today I kick ass everyday thanks to these guards. The only nitpick is there is no case like the regular mouth guards I had for football when I did not have braces. But I wish I could give a 4.5 if I could, my favorite and main mouth guard.

My teenage son plays football and wrestles. Needed an upgrade after he got braces and this works like a charm. Option for with or without strap is a must for us. Highly recommend.

I bought a few mouthguards for my son who plays lacrosse. He recently got braces on his top and bottom teeth so I needed to find him a new mouthguard. I bought this one and the Shock Doctor Convertible Ultra Braces one. This one covers both the top and bottom braces / teeth, the convertible ultra one just covers the top teeth. This one is bigger than the ultra but at thirteen, it fits him and he wears it comfortably. He is not a big kid and it still fits well. It is made of very soft and supple silicone. Even though this one is not as streamlined as the convertible ultra one, he chose it over the convertible ultra as it was comfortable, easy to wear and offered better protection against the errant stick or ball. Nice mouthguard.

My son who has braces uses these for football & wrestling. Good protection, approved by athletic commissions, and self molds which is a huge plus. A bit expensive but worth it to protect such an expensive mouth.

My thirteen year old son wears this for boxing and rugby. Very protective and apparently comfortable to wear for prolonged periods of time, even with fixed braces on both his upper and lower jaw. Only downside is that they're expensive to replace when the kids loose them!

Our 11 year old loves it. He says it's really comfortable and fits nicely over his braces. He also has an upper expander to widen the upper jaw and it still fits well. He doesn't need the strap, so we just took it off. It was nice not to have to cut any pieces off of the mouthguard to remove the strap.
