I took these to the Peak District in the UK because I didn't want to bring bulky boots (that are more difficult to clean) and wanted support of my trail running shoe with these covering them versus using "wellies". Hiked about 30+ miles in these through 10" of snow, rain, deep mud, shallow streams, and they worked great to keep my shoes mostly dry. Only complaint is the upper elastic didn't stay all the way up on my leg, but it was still far enough up to go through the mud and snow we encountered. I also wish the strap across the ankle went to the inside so it would be easier to see when you button it. These are also, much easier to clean after a hike vs hiking boots.

It is a trip saver. I did not have chance to try it out until recently I did a east coast to west coast long ride. When I was in northeastern states, there were a few rains. In past I would get a wet smelly boot within 1/2 hour. This cover wraps the boots nicely and snuggly. For the entire trip never again. Its height is above 2 inch more than the boots, and with elastic straps at the top. So the boots tightly snapped underneath rain pants, ensure no splash water can go in. It makes riding in rain more enjoyable.

This is a good option for raining days when you have to dress up and cover your actual shoes. The size I have is very versatile. It fits me on the larger scale and not much space if a man wears them. For the money is a good solution. So far they are durable. Comfort is not clear since I can’t use them to drive and just for small distance. Made for what it’s intended. Good function overall.

Fits well and made of good material this really kept the moisture/rain out. Also helped keep my feet warm in the process.
