I loved the idea and the product worked. I put them on my tennis shoes and left them on. However, then one of the prongs that holds the unit onto the shoe broke entirely off the unit and now they are not useable. I guess a year and couple of months isn't bad for longevity.

It's great for walking or jogging slowly. Looks very cool from the distance. However when I ran a bit faster the light was not bright enough for me to see the road clearly especially in a completely dark environment. Good light but not suitable for my running routine.

This is my second pair - ordered a spare because they’re great! These gizmos are amazing for walking at night. You charge them via USB. It takes about 5 hours for the first charge but then more like 3 after that. I walk about 1.25 hours per night and they last for the duration. They also stay put perfectly - at least for walking, not sure about running. I’d guess they would probably last a second walk, but haven’t wanted to test it.The lights are bright enough that I don’t need to carry a flashlight and I can see the road very clearly, no more tripping in the dark. They definitely seem visible to others from a distance. I get a lot of compliments from fellow evening travelers, noting how far off they could see them.

The shoe lights work well while I walk before sunrise. I can see a long way in front of me and vehicles can see me from front and rear. The wildlife notice them too. Love the fact they are rechargeable. Glad I made the purchase!
