This swivel has 1/2" IPS (G1/2) THREADS on both ends (one male and one female). 1/2" IPS is the standard thread size for most shower arms,pipes,shower heads and shower hoses.
This shower head swivel adapter will hit a ANGLE OF 30° off center.
The swivel ball has a 1/4" (around 6mm) diameter through-hole. A 6mm through-hole is the biggest diameter hole which still allows maximum range of motion.
The shower head swivel connection comes with 3PCS of shower washers in order to get it to fit and seal the shower arm and shower head correctly.
this swivel / pivot ball adapter does lower the shower head by about an additional 1 inches, take that into account if you already have a standard or low shower head height.

I bought two of these shower head swivels because I have 2 shower heads in the same shower that don't quite reach where we want them. We had them installed too far apart, and this would be an inexpensive fix if they work as advertised.When I installed the swivels, they both leaked a little. Because of the photos on Amazon about the o-ring and the shower arm pipe size, I was hyper focused on whether that end of the connection was causing the leak. After fussing with them for a while, I realized my leak was coming from the connection between the swivel and the shower head, not the swivel and the arm where the o-ring lives. So I took a few more wraps with the teflon tape and even though the web site says "hand tighten" I wrench tightened both shower heads to their swivels and now neither of them leaks!I am really happy with how these swivels work and the flexibility they provide in pointing the shower heads. Good, quality and simple construction, and they come with spare everything in terms of o-rings and washers.

needed to replace our shower head and the new ones don't swivel down far enough (we have our shower head at 6ft up) and figured this item must be available. Home Depot and Lowes didn't have one and the sales people there never heard of one before. Just did a search on Amazon and there they are, item works really well.

The vessel is well thought out with plenty of compartments, good size and build durably. I expect it to last years, although I have had it about three weeks. It would rate a 5 but for the adjustable strap being so long, even for a tall person. I plan to remedy this by cutting and reconnecting it. Nonetheless, it's a sound,, practical sling pack.

When I had my bathroom remodeled the shower head was pointing slightly to the side and the shower head I installed did not have a way to adjust this. Every time I turned on the shower it water would go outside the tub. I was able to install this and position my shower head perfectly. The primary concern I had was the shower head was really heavy and I thought this couldn't hold it in place. I was pleasantly surprised it had the strength to hold this. It did come with extra washers if you need to make the swivel tighter or lose.

This did not come with instructions. Tried to installed and very loose and will not hold shower head at different angles. Apparently there is supposed to be an o ring, based on pictures, but did not come with it. I cannot find a way to contact them.
