Shrink-N-Shield (3:1) is an EMI shielding heat shrink that has a 3:1 shrink ratio and can be cut to length. The flexible, flame-retardant and self-extinguishing polyolefin sleeve can withstand temperatures up to 275°F (135°C). Shrink-N-Shield (3:1) is equipped with the Z-3250 EMI shielding cloth, which is made of a taffeta fabric that is plated with copper and then nickel for excellent corrosion protection. The lightweight, flexible shielding cloth will not flake or deteriorate over time, so you can be confident your components will have long-lasting protection against EMI, RFI, and EMF. With installation only requiring a standard heat gun and standard scissors if you need to trim to a shorter application, Shrink-N-Shield (3:1) can repair and shield your components faster than replacement.
INSTALLATION NOTES: Shrink-N-Shield will begin shrinking at temperatures above 195°F. A heat gun with a temperature setting of between 248°F and 284°F is sufficient to shrink the tubing. Be aware that the EMI shield cloth inside the tubing does not shrink. The tubing surface may show visible wrinkle lines and may not be as smooth as normal heat shrinkable tubing.

Shrink-N-Shield utilizes Zippertubing’s Z-3250-CN cloth. Z-3250-CN is a high performance EMI shielding cloth made from nickle, copper, and polyester.
