Mayhems Hyper Clarity Series
Premium Soft Tubing for Water Cooled PCs
Mayhems are proud to introduce “Hyper Clarity” PVC tubing which is our high clarity version of soft tubing for PC water cooling custom loops. Mayhems also produce other versions of soft tubing that prioritise attributes other than clarity.
Our Hyper Clarity version uses an advanced plastics formulation to produce a tubing that combines good levels of flexibility with class leading levels of clarity. This allows the tubing to provide excellent colour reproduction and vibrancy. This is great if you are using coloured coolants and want your system to look as good as possible.
Hyper Clarity tubing utilises new polymer additives that do not leach plasticizers, which can lead to fouling and blockages in your coolant loop.
Hyper Clarity tubing is also phthalate free, potentially allowing it to be used in applications where phthalate leaching would be undesirable.

Mayhems are proud to introduce “Ultra Flex” PVC tubing which is our high flexibility version of soft tubing for PC water cooling custom loops. Mayhems also produce other versions of soft tubing that prioritise attributes other than flexibility.
Our Ultra Flex version uses an advanced plastics formulation to produce a tubing that combines good levels of clarity with class leading levels of flexibility. This allows the tubing to make tighter bends before kinking than stiffer tubing. This is particularly useful in small PC cases where space is limited.
Ultra Flex tubing utilises new polymer additives that do not leach plasticizers, which can lead to fouling and blockages in your coolant loop.
Ultra Flex tubing is also phthalate free, potentially allowing it to be used in applications where phthalate leaching would be undesirable.

Just as the product description states Mayhem's tubing will have a slight purple tinge to the tubing. Depending on the light the tubing actually looks a tad bit frosted and sticking with plain distilled water it will stay looking that way which is fine to me, but might not be for others.The tubing is soft and works amazingly in tight curves without kinking. It's much better than Primochill's LRT that I have on hand and is worth the trade off with having the purple tinge. The outer tubing surface (did not check inner) does not have that new and clean sticky feeling with other soft PVC tubing.Included in the reviews is a comparison of Mayhem's Ultra Clear V2 tubing and some old unused leftover Primochill's LRT clear for a quick comparison of the tube tinge. Another picture will be a close up section of Mayhem's tube after filled with plain distilled water.

These tubes won't look exactly like you want if you're not using an obscene amount of LEDS in your build. Best I can describe is that it's a purple hue that you can see especially when it's turned off and using clear liquid coolant.

After initial setup, in a day my pump stopped working even though it was running (this wasn't the case after flushing, but my pump vibrates a lot now). The liquid was thick, and it looked like white particles seeped into the coolant. Sure enough it smelled like plasticizer after draining it--do not recommend.

I had to tear down whole build after a week and found tubes already badly discoloured. I’m using “ultra clear†in the other build for half year with the same coolant and tint is nowhere close to “hyper clarityâ€.

Nicht meine erste Wasserkühlung und auch nicht der erste Schlauch den ich dafür gekauft habe, dafür aber der Beste den ich bisher hatte.Billige Schläuche wären alle irgendwie zu weich. Norprene Schlauch ebenso.Dieser von Mayhems ist nicht sehr weich, aber dennoch flexibel. Er ist klar, sieht fast aus wie eine TUBE. Habe 3m bestellt und auch 3m bekommen. Preis Leistung ist super.Lieferung aus England hat nur etwas länger gedauert als normal, kam auch zu spät.

I've used several different makes of flexible hose over the years.. Tygon, ClearFlex 60, Home Depot PVC (cheap), PrimoFlex LRT, and this Mayhems Ultra Clear. Tygon is a silicone based hose that has issues with heat making it too soft and puncture prone. Cheap PVC leaks plasticizers into the coolant and kinks really easy. The ClearFlex 60 wasn't bad. Of them All I find the PrimoFlex LRT and the Mayhems hose the best. I might even place the Mayhems a little better than the PrimoFlex, while being 1/3rd the price.The only downside I can think of is the slight purplish tint. That color goes away over time, while the PrimoFlex starts off a little more neutral in color, turns more and more yellow as it ages in your system. And it is COSTLY!So far very happy with the results plumbing my system with this hose.
