I bought this a few months ago and just realized I have not used any of my other mics since. I used to switch between an AT 4033 and a Sennheiser 416 and will probably now sell them both.Great full sound (and I use the back side). I pretty much stopped using EQ at all now. The RAW file almost sounds mastered already. Being a ribbon it is much less sensitive to mouth noise (the bane of the 416 in my opinion). Being a passive ribbon you will need a Cloudlifter or something similar. This mic is well worth the price. Fits perfectly in any generic shock mount that will hold a 44mm mic.
