The Shurflo 5059-3610-D011 Bypass Pump is a 12-volt powered diaphragm pump that can be fitted on spot sprayers and agricultural sprayers for professional spraying applications. The bypass mode, which is set at 90 psi, comes in handy for applications where a wide range of flows and pressures are required and where frequent stopping and starting of the motor is present. An example would be a spray boom with multiple nozzles, each controlled independently. The pump runs regardless of pressure in the system. Flow rate is different if one nozzle is turned on opposed to having two or more on. Once nozzles are turned off, excess flow is bypassed within the pump. The Shurflo 255-313 In-Line Strainer included in this bundle is a bowl-style, twist-on strainer that prevents debris from being drawn into your 12V electric diaphragm pump. Install this strainer / suction filter on the vacuum side of the pump head to help prevent debris and other particles from entering your pump. The strainer has polypropylene housing, nylon bowl, and 50 mesh stainless steel screen.
