Given that this is the only heavy duty pole post mount I could find, I'm glad it worked out. It appears to be a solid product and comes with a set of spacers if they are needed to make your mailbox work with the mount. I did not need the spacers personally. My only two concerns were minor. The side mounting holes did not perfectly line up with my mailbox, however, I suspect this was the design of the mailbox rather than the mount. I had to drill two holes in the bottom of my mailbox to feed the bolts though. Not a huge deal, but it might really annoy somebody else. Also at one location where the mount was welded there was a sharp pointy bit. It almost got me as I was not expecting it. Ten seconds of filing it down solved it. Mounting overall was easy even with the slight modifications i had to do.

Searched all over for a replacement bracket after the original one welded to the pipe / post rusted off. Trimmed the end of the pipe with a hacksaw and tapped this one into place.. it was tight enough that it wouldn't budge so I skipped the bolt.. 4 years ago. It has never moved and still as strong as new. Mailbox fit on and attached perfectly. Still looks like new after 4 years of northeast winters! Don't hesitate to buy one!

The bracket seemed very sturdy and the powder coating would be good protection against rust however they should make different diameter connections to choose from. The diameter of my mail box post was way too small for this bracket and there was no way to make it fit. Also, it did not come with instructions. And finally, before you attach it, check to see if it is flat. The one I received was slightly warped. Because of the sturdiness of the bracket I don't know if it could be straightened out so I don't know how it would impact installing the mail box.

I am extremely happy with this bracket for my mailbox my previous butterfly style bracket was flimsy and floppy and I had to replace it every spring after the snow plows hit into it. This one is extremely sturdy and I don’t think I will be needing to replace it every spring again

It seems durable. It was easy to install after I had holes drilled in steel pole in which I was attaching it. I would purchase again.
