These breakers are great for an existing panel change, but want to make it clear that these breakers are just a FCI they are not Afci/GFCI breakers. We do a lot of panel changes for our business so they come in handy, but for new construction, everything in the kitchen, Hass to be dual function protected AFCI and GFCI just to give everyone a heads up.

Thank goodness for these. I have 4 circuits in my house where the "electrician" that wired it ran 14/3 wire to make two circuits instead of using two runs of 14/2, using a common neutral to save money, Great, thanks. Loser. This allows you to run the same two circuits on an AFCI breaker and be up to code, as AFCI circuit protection is required on basically all 15 or 20 amp circuits in your house now.

Siemens (Murray) rebranded these CAFCIs mid-cycle, to hide the fact that they detect some degree of ground faults. I think the detection threshold is around 30 mA (instead of >5mA for a Class A GFCI or combination GFCI + CAFCI).In newer revisions, the breaker's front sticker nwo hides the ground fault LED (it's still there if you cut / peel off the sticker!), and the packaging text has been updated to remove references to ground fault detection.I suspect homeowners were getting confused -- and assuming the "GND" indicator meant these did Class A ground fault detection (they don't), so they simply hid the feature.

This product is not CSA approved and is not acceptable for Canadian market. I have a breaker that I’m not able to use legally in Canada… useless!!

Bought this double pole afci because my house has many multi wire shard neutral circuitsThese afci continually keeps tripping even though I spent hours tracing out all the fittings and fixing the connections. These units continue to trip for no reason.Siemens need to fix this issue especially for shard neutral circuits

After one month installation, it started to trip at any load, I spent like a 5 hours tracking the wires until I try to replaced the breaker, then everything works fine.Waste of money and wast of time. It’s a shame.
