This is a CTL breaker. It works in Canadian panels that are rated for type "QT" breakers. Before buying, ensure your panel is rated for type "QT" breakers and which slots in your panel can accept tandem breakers.

Just an FYI that this breaker won't fit all panels, specifically those with a full-depth bus tab which I believe is most common in Canada. It is intended to be used in a "CTL" panel typically required in the US up until more recently. The breaker has a small tab in the bus slot which prevents full engagement on a standard full-depth tab (the US CTL panels have a notch cut in only some of the busses, thereby limiting the number of tandem circuits possible). If you have a typical Canadian panel listed for 12/24, 24/48 etc circuits, this likely won't fit. However it does fit my Seimens 4/8 style of panel which only has a 'half-width' bus arrangement (eg: breakers in a single row, not two side-by-side).

Doesn't fit Canadian panels, should not be sold. Don't waste your money. I waited too long to go to install it and found out it didnt fit. Now I'm stuck with a paperweight that Amazon won't take back.
