I got this for my son for his birthday, and he absolutely loves it. He’s going to be entering kindergarten in the fall and knows the basics of math, number building, and some beginner sight words, so this is definitely compounded into an awesome lesson for him. We took it to the beach to play waiting our downtime with some of his little friends, and they all loved it, as well. The excitement of getting a bingo alongside the excitement of realizing you’re beginning to read is so wonderful.It has two sides, a blue beginner side, then a red more advanced side. Initially, it is a lot of matching, but eventually it turns into recognizing the sight words, and beginning to get excited that they are learning how to read. I like that this bingo card is only nine spaces, so they can get a bingo quickly, so they don’t lose their attention so fast. I definitely would pick this up for other kids who are learning and I’ll hopefully keep my set for when my three and one year-old get to be that age.
