This is for electric conduit as described. I searched for NOT water pipe bushings and this came up so be careful.

I bought this to reduce a 3/4 inch Bell box down to 1/2” on one side so I could connect it to some conduit. It is made out of what seems to be galvanized zinc or maybe cheaper galvanized steel. And is plenty sturdy enough to do what it is intended to do.Only issue is that the side with the wrench flats is what screws INTO the box. And the threads that accept the 1/2” are on the back sticking out of the box. Meaning, the wrench flats aren’t exposed for you to turn. And you can’t use the side with the wrench flats to accept the 1/2” pipe as it tapers down. It was made backwards imo but still works for its intended purpose basically.

I bought these to use 1/2 inch conduit to run my patio lights with. The fixtures I bought came with 3/4 threaded knockouts. Upon opening up the first one and threading it into the fixture, it almost seemed the wrong size. I took a closer look and discovered there was flashing left from the casting process left in the threads. I used a triangle needle file and cleaned up the threads. Afterwards they threaded right in.
