Definitely simplified the degreasing process. You do have to make sure to follow every step in the instructions. I still did pre-degreasing prior with some orange clean to loosen remove most of the factory grease. Chain came out nicely waxed afterwards.

Didn't have any notable issues with either a factory-greased chain dipped without cleaning, and a previously used chain stripped with Silca chain stripper. Both worked great!

This really makes chain waxing easy. Degreasing a new chain is a pain whether you are using wax or an oil-based lube. This makes chain waxing a preferable path to using oil lubes.

Great product. It makes whole wax process so easy. Chain wax is definitely a way to go. I would not turn back to oil lubricate method again. It's clean and efficient way for your bike. Furthermore, it will just make your chain last longer with no question mark.

This product works great, but I don’t recommend it unless you have SILCA’s own temperature controlled wax melter. The double boiler type set up doesn’t get hot enough and a crockpot takes a very very long time to get up to 125°C which you have to reach for the strip chip to work on the factory grease/. I ended up wishing I just bought their chain stripper/degreaser. Would’ve actually been faster for me.

Have used to strip 4 chains so far. Did the chains one at a time in the secret wax bag using 1 piece for each chain. Waxing your chain for the first time does not get easier than this.

Działa dokładnie tak jak wynika to z opisu. Wrzucasz 1 kostkę do rozgrzanego do 125°C wosku secret blend, wrzucasz nowy łańcuch na 10min, czekasz kolejne 10 aż temperatura spadnie do 75°C, i wyciągasz perfekcyjnie czysty, wolny od oryginalnego smaru łańcuch dokładnie pokryty woskiem. Musisz jedynie pamiętać by dobrze „rozruszać†każdy z linków łańcucha pozbawiając nadmiaru wosku. Generalnie było to moje pierwsze woskowanie na gorąco, i mogę potwierdzić to co mówią inni - jak raz spróbujesz, już nigdy nie wrócisz do tradycyjnej oliwki :) próg wejścia jest wyższy, ale sam produkt starcza na długo, a otrzymujemy cichy, i przede wszystkim czysty łańcuch.

This seemed to work perfect on my chain tried other chain cleaners but this is the only one that cleaned the chain so it rattled when I shook it. Just what you need if you are going to wax your chain.

Fonctionne très bien, plus besoin de dégraisser la chaîne. Juste à ajouter dans la cire.Vraiment simple, fini le dégraissage long et platte à faire.Juste prévoir d'avoir un chauffe cire qui monte à 125 degré car je ne l'avais pas prévu. Je m'en suis procuré un par après.
