Orange bead changing color to dark green as it becomes increasingly saturated with moisture. Then it can be baked by microwave for about 2-3 mins, or place in the oven for 0.5 to 2 hours at 200 to 250F by reusable.

We shoved a handful of these packers into our moving boxes from Hawaii to the East Coast and they were essential, especially in the boxes containing fabrics like pillows, clothes and bedding. They are compact and take up little room in a box of household goods. Been consistently using them to move and they perform well every time. Great value, highly recommend.

Got these to use in my dehydrated food products and diy laundry detergent and they work great.Best results have been in the canister of powder laundry detergent, and in the canisters for pet foods to keep out moisture.Super handy!

Using these to keep buttons dry on an outdoor setting. So far they are doing their job. Come spring and they are still working I will rate better, or worse.

I learned the hard way the importance of storing pantry foods properly so not only in air tight containers, but also to ensure the contents remain dry. I now live in a hot humid climate and never before had to worry about this until one day I discovered a bug infestation in my pantry because I didn’t have things stored in air tight containers. I had to throw away an entire pantry full of food. But because of the humidity where I live, I also need to make sure there isn’t moisture in my containers. I did some online research and found this size to be more than adequate for even a 5 pound bag of flour. Every container now has one of these packets inside (baking items, pasta, rice, dry beans etc). I purchased two packages so I can change out these packets. I know it’s possible to reuse these but frankly it’s not worth my time when these are so inexpensive. I’ll just buy more when it’s time.

I live in Louisiana where humidity is always a problem. This allows me to keep my wood working tools from rusting. A couple of packets in each tool case does the trick.

I use these for rather a weird purpose. I am overweight and have areas where body moisture can cause chaffing. I make cloth 'tubes' and slip three or more of these into the tube, sew the end up and then use them under my breasts and the tummy roll I have. They work brilliantly. Some years ago I tried patenting this but it got expensive so I quit. Have several friends who use them.
