These are great! They’re small, but work well and have saved us many times from burning our fingers on the stove-top griddle. They come off easily when they’re not being used and can go through the dishwasher when needed. I’m not sure how we got along before we found these, but I’m thrilled to have them now.

I've been slowly moving from non stick cookware with handles that stay cool to both stainless steel and enameled cast iron. The enameled cast iron handles get hot fast! I've been using pot holders to keep from burning my fingers, but that's pretty clunky. These silicone grips do stay on the handles, but they're not as tight as I would like. This may be to accommodate a larger range of handles. I haven't tried them out on any of my dutch ovens yet, but it's certainly a better solution than a slippery pot holder.

My wok handles are thicker than what these protectors can handle. The protectors pop off the handles. The protectors will stay on if I hold them on.

I love this item. When I first got them I took some to use them a lot. But, the more I used them, the more I like them. Now I use them almost every time I cook and they are awesome. I have some really heavy cast iron skillets and you must use two hands to manipulate them. A silicon handle sleeve and one of these holders are great for this. Get a pair. Must have ;-)

Perfect for side handle pots!HINT: Don’t leave on while cooking as they will become hot. Just attach when moving pot.
