This is a much better contraption for coating chicken than a bunch of bowls/tupperware. Its really mess free and easy to use. Very easy to clean too.

You know how some things are so simple, yet incredibly effective, you kick yourself for not having thought of it yourself? Yeeeah, that's this batter bowl. I love this thing. No more wasting plastic Zip-Loc bags, etc. to coat things prior to frying. This no frills, no mess bowl is kinda a God-send. and best of all??? Best of all??? It collapses!! Whaaaaat? lol I love that is take up about zero space. This fact made an already lovable product, that much more loved.
