Granted, I haven't seen a name brand Yoto Adventure Jacket in person, but this appears identical from picture. I really wanted a handle on our Yoto without paying $30. This one feels great, thick, protective, and the holes align perfectly. Fits snug, but not difficult to put on or off the player. The handle is a cool feature, that it also lets you tilt the player back at an angle.(The stickers are our own addition, that actually don't feel real secure on the silicone, go figure, it was just to please a grumpy three-year-old.)The only tiny thing I can say negative is the front edge has a little inconsistent ridge from a seam in the mold, not enough to bother me, but just fyi to others. If the name brand one doesn't have that, it's still not worth the extra $10 to me.

We bought these at the same time just depending on the colors available at the time. So they have the same amount of wear.The Yoto brand (green)- handle is very flimsy, every piece of dirt and hair in your house will stick to it. It’s not easy to clean. You have to take it off and wash it.This brand (orange) is very sturdy in the handle. This case fits better than the Yoto brand. Very little dirt and hair has stuck to this case. Much more manageable. You still have to take it off to get a good wash but it’s not needed nearly as much as the name brand.We will be replacing our Yoto brand case with this one! Cheaper and better quality.

The handle works very well. This case keeps the Yoto 3 safe. The kids love the color.
