The heat pad stopped functioning within 3 weeks. Prior to the installation, I tested the item to see if it worked, and it did. I then installed it and used it on two different occasions for a 10-minute period. The third time I turned it on, It would no longer heat and I am now outside the return window.

Maybe it heated a little too well. The silicone consistently burned on the maxed setting (you can smell it heavily in the air), but didn't warm at all on 50% after clicking it on. What's the point of advertising temperature control if the settings are essentially "on" and "off"? The adhesive is also entirely too strong. it doesn't release easily at all. Pulled the outer layer off of my oil tank for my Harley. Don't apply to anything with paint. No bueno.

Had a friend help install that and had to purchase heavy duty zip ties otherwise it's a great feature
