The handle on some of my skillets get too hot to hold. These make picking them up safe. The large handles are bigger than anything I have but the small ones fit nicely.

I assumed incorrectly that they would fit my pan handles but they just slipped off. Should make them in sizes, rather than a one size fits all.

We use the mini 5" pans for many things and it's easy to forget they are hot. The larger pans, for the most part, all came with red handles initially. Those handles are worn and needed to be replaced. This purchase worked out great for the price and number of handle holders we received for all our cast iron skillets.

We thought they'd fit our new pots & pans I got to replace our old and outdated ones but the handles are too big to fit our metal handles so we are returning them.

People, people, people. All the grips for sale are 5.5 in., don't follow the herd, you probably just need the short or 4.5 in. grips, sellers on Amazon are leading you the wrong way! In most cases you want the shorter ones for Lodge cast iron fry pans. I own the 5in, the 8in and the 10in fry pans and the short 4.5 in. grips work perfectly, the 5.5 in. are too long and too wide. Don't believe me? Look it up on the Lodge guide. I decided on this set to get a bunch of short ones and one 5.5 in for a specialty pot.

My wife decided to go cast iron for cooking. It was a pain constantly reaching for awkward fitting pot holders. These work well to an extent. universal to fit over handles, so some areas fit tight others are loose. Heat does go thru the silicone, but I don't believe enough to burn you. Good for moving a skillet from burner to burner or from one table to another, but if the pan is hot, you still don't want to hold it for more than 5-10 seconds.

probably fine with fat cast iron pan.. those with skinny handle, it does not work well, Could be made in Canada, so loose a star.

This is a good deal if you have a variety of different size pans or pots. Frist off check how many you receive in the package your supposed to get 2 large sleeves and 4 smaller sleeves. My package was short one small sleeve which I needed the 4 small ones. Amazon gives you no way of having it replace unless you return and reorder I needed them so I took the loss. Sleeves are decent but they are thinner than others, I used them today and they do get warm but not hot enough to burn you. So buyer beware.
