These potholders make it safe to reach into the oven again. I love how light they are, despite their size. I also like how soft the interior of the gloves feel on your hands. The gloves extend down on my arms to protect me from the previous burns I sustained with other potholders when reaching into the oven and coming into contact with the oven grates. The silicon gives me confidence in the effective barrier against high heat. I also used these gloves to remove hot dishes from the microwave, and they provide the sensitivity of feel, despite the effective heat barrier, to pick up small handles on microwave dishes. The only thing I am wondering about is how to clean the interior cloth if they become dirty. You can easily wipe clean the silicon exterior, but I have not tried to pull out the interior cloth, and won't unless necessary in the future. I highly recommend these potholders. Plus, they were only $6.99 for a set of two.

They work well, they clean easily-usually just a wipe, they're comfortable, don't slip off, and grip well. Can't ask more out of oven mitts. Oh, and they're not ugly, but not beautiful either.

A bit bulky & big but they do the job . No burns , able to hold hot items securely directly out of the oven with no chance of heat getting thru! Would buy again ..

I should have had some of these from the start. They are much better than regular potholders. They are comfy and I love the lining. They work really well and I can slip them on and off quickly.
