These work surprisingly well. They stretch to fit tightly on bottles -- and work on glass soda bottles or beer bottles, too. I haven't used them extensively yet, but they do seem to be able to keep the fizz in an opened soda bottle. So, that is a "plus". They appear to be leak proof so long as they are fitting tightly on the bottle. Obviously, not all bottles have the same shape at the top, so it is possible that a particular type bottle will not be leak proof with one of these as a stopper. But, mostly, they seem to work well. A big advantage of these is that they do not make your bottles "taller" -- meaning that storing them in your refrigerator (or wherever) is made easier by not requiring an "extra-tall" space to stand the bottle in.

I bought these to cap off my half-done wine bottles in the fridge. They do exactly what they're supposed to do. I especially like that they are machine washable (I have a third rack in my dishwasher and put it on the top rack). AND I found that when the beverage is carbonated (like a bottle of champagne), these actually do seal the bottle off and make it "airtight." When you crack the seal, you hear the carbonation escaping... makes it really nice if you're working your way through a bottle of bubbly for sunday brunch or something.

I have tried to find a good fizz keeper lid to use with my 2 liter soda bottles, I tried about every brand and style that is out there over the years but none of them worked that well. These Silicone Wine Stoppers are great, they fit snugly over the threads and then down over the neck of the bottle. They go on easily and come off easily and they are the only lid that I have ever used that every time I take it off you can hear the trapped co2 leak out. So it definitely keeps the carbonation in the bottle between uses. These are great!

They work well for what you need. Simple and sleek. At times if the bottle gets condensation the top has a hard time fitting on.

Good seal. Can lay bottles down and they don't leak. And by not adding height like a protruding cork, they store more easily in the fridge. Bought them for myself and gave given to friends.
