This utensil basket is more square then many and fit my dishwasher just fine. It fit fine in the lower tray, front middle (seemed to be designed for that area). Most of the baskets I saw online were long narrow shaped and didn’t look as if they would fit. It seems to be a strong basket with plenty of room for many utensils.

Our apartment dishwasher was missing the silverware basket when we moved in. This little caddy fit in the gap on the lower shelf perfectly. The only issue I have with it is that the holes in the grated bottom are large enough that spoon/fork handles fall through; it’s tough to wiggle them out and causes the bottom shelf to become stuck inside the dishwasher. When we flip them utensil-side down, they are not as clean, so we still have to hand wash a few. Regardless, it reduces the amount we hand wash and gives our utensils a place inside the dishwasher, so we are happy.

I wash my cooking utensils and flatware by hand. This basket is nice and big and holds bulky spoons, knives, tongs, etc., upright so you don't get water spots.

My previous caddy was damaged and this was an ideal replacement.

Compared to the original caddy that came with the dishwasher it's more usable and convenient.
