Well made. Lids fit nicely.Made some vegies in microwave with smaller of these. No drama. Worked well, with the lid on.Great replacement for plastic "microwavable" packaging. I prefer glass.Update: 1/31/25: These are working out well... a good purchase. I use them for cooking frozen veggies in the microwave. The lids fit well, the handles are the right size for use with oven mitts. NIce product. Recommended.

For quite some time I was looking for a Pyrex round glass casserole with lid to replace what I had given my son. However I noticed in the reviews on Amazon that many that bought this well known brand had it explode in their ovens! I saw their pictures. Seems it’s the elements within the type of glass American manufacturing companies use now. Then a reviewer mentioned Simax which is made in Europe of elements that will NOT allow the product to explode. Ever. The element is mentioned in Simax’s description. Long word. Bought the set and wow am I pleased! So well made, nests all together, has heft, super easy to clean and still looks brand new after many uses. The three bowl set has been so useful. Of course you can use the bowls with lids for cold items or as a mixing bowl as well besides the oven. Plus these are made SO well that I’d never buy the Pyrex type baking bowls, meat loaf pans etc again! When you get Simax you’ll instantly understand. You may pay just a few dollars more, but they are worth it! They are made so well that you’ll have them for countless years from now. The product has a very, very light tinge of blue. You can see it in the product photo. I’ve been cooking/baking all my life and have also owned a successful Resturant. I wouldn’t steer you wrong. Don’t waste your money on the old name brand we are familiar with....they aren’t made the same anymore. The set is hands down far more superior! Zero regrets.

December 2021 — I have added two more stars to my review from November (see review below). Within a day after submitting the two star review, I was contacted by the seller (Millvado) as they wanted to try and make things right. They were very responsive and offered me a discount on a future order or a replacement for the defective dish that led to injury. I chose the replacement. Millvado then promptly shipped me a whole new set of dishes instead of one replacement dish. I am left with the impression that the defective dish I received was an aberration and that Millvado has outstanding customer service and stands behind their products. I hope that Millvado will ensure that 100% of the dishes they send to customers are free of air bubbles and other unsafe conditions. I also hope customers will double-check their new Simax dishes for air bubbles in order to avoid injury. Otherwise, I again heartily recommend both the Simax storage dishes and the seller Millvado.CLOSELY INSPECT THESE DISHES WHEN THEY ARRIVE AT YOUR HOUSE. RETURN THEM IF THERE ARE ANY AIR BUBBLES IN THE GLASS!!We’ve purchased five of these dishes in various sizes as we really liked them. They are excellent storage/cooking dishes that don’t have handles on the lids so it’s possible to stack thin items on them in the refrigerator.Unfortunately — the smallest lid in this set had a small air bubble in the rim which fits down inside the dish. I should have known better and when I noticed it, I should’ve immediately sent the set back. I didn’t think it through. When bubbles in glass are heated, they can cause breakage in the glass. Unbeknownst to us, a very thin, inch-long piece of the rim chipped off into some leftover beans and rice. I didn’t know this until I took a bite of food and chewed up something crunchy and then felt the hardness of what turned out to be glass. It cut my mouth and caused a great deal of stress regarding whether or not I swallowed any of it and should go to the ER.I gave them an extra star because we liked the dishes so much. It’s very unfortunate all the way around that the dish chipped and caused the injury. Perhaps the manufacturer could develop a tighter quality control process to ensure that none of the dishes that are sent out have air bubbles??

The clarity of the glass is amazing. I bought borosilicate glass for its temperature durability, but I didn't know it would be so thin and clear. I like the design of the lids and how the lid handle overlaps the base handle so it is easy to remove the lid.

I absolutely love these safe glass containers. I reheated food in the microwave; it heated evenly, kept the food moist, and the containers were easy to handle. And the best part of all is that there are no microplastics. Thank you! I have ordered another set. Thanks. Update: Received my 3rd order. Wonderful products - I highly recommend and have given a set as a gift. Thank you for these products.

They come shipped with very well-thought-out packaging to protect the glass. Very easy to clean. Nice to see the food being cooked inside the clear glass dish bottoms. Sizes are perfect for small to medium volumes. Lids and dish/bowls stack nicely to save space. Very happy with these.

I purchased the set of 3 round casserole sets as I have had my Grandmothers Simax dish and lid for over 40 years and still has no chips whereas other brands of ovenproof glass have chipped.Very happy with the quality. They will see me out and be handed down.

It is very nice quality, well package. I don't expect the size too small. when I received, looking for bigger boiling pot for cooking soup.
