Once the item is received, please peel off the protective sheet cover as soon as possible. Leaving the sheet cover on the acrylic surface for a long time may lead to difficulty removing it later on. If the sheet cover is difficult to remove, try to use an alcohol wipe to rub on the sheet cover at a corner to help remove the sheet cover.

We got several of them and all of them were of great quality. You can literally see thru the acrylic even from the sides. Sides are usually burred from other suppliers. This cuts and engraves nicely with our laser cutter. Only issue is there are minor thickness variations even within a single sheet, but this is not a problem with our use since we cut this further into different shapes with laser. Another problem is the masking sheet that comes with this tends to catch fire in our laser cutter that leaves burn marks in the products that we make, so eventually realized we had to peel them off and replace with a low tack paper mask from another vendor that doesn't catch fire. This is additional work and $ but can't beat the price of this item for 1/2 inch acrylic.

Nicely polished acrylic, great for projects but for some reason the thickness is a bit off, so when using this for precision or tool bases make sure that you select a proper thickness and gauge it for uniformness and certainty reasons but it is a great quality product otherwise.

It suits my needs. I have an old side table that was starting to break on one side. I set the plexi-glass panel on top the table to give it stability and it works!
