This is a beautiful dress. The fabric is a nice weight with a tiny bit of stretch. I bought the XL size. It fits beautifully. I am 5ft.5in. tall and weigh 154 lbs. I am a 36DD with 34 inch waist and 40 inch hips. The length is perfect mid calf on me. This fits like it was custom made for me! I am looking at other patterns now!

I love this dress so much. I need all the colors and patterns stat. The fabric is thicker (polyester) and it looks like it will never fade or wrinkle. The colors were true to the photo. The zipper was a little hard to pull up over the waistband by myself but the dress wasn’t too tight or too loose. It accentuates all the right places for my body type. I am 5’5â€, 170 lbs, and I’ve had 3 kids. The dress looks like it would be great for work or church. One thing to note, there is different fabric for different patterns. I am reviewing one that was 97% polyester, so be careful when picking the color/pattern- the fabric may also change.

Pros: I wore this to a church daytime wedding as a guest and received many compliments. I suggest Iron pressing this before wearing along with wearing a slip underneath. It is a cotton like material and not like a more flowy silk, but it is an attractive dress and was perfect for the occasion nonetheless. I was very comfortable in this as well.Cons: I had some real difficulty with the zipper halfway up the back, at the waistline near the pleats. It had nothing to do with the dress being too small, the zipper just refused to budge at that point for quite some time. There was nothing caught in it, it just refused to move. I was also afraid the zipper would break if it was forced too hard. With my husbands' help and a bit of Vaseline, we finally managed to get it zipped all the way up. So I'll be crossing my fingers if I ever want to wear it again unfortunately. Hopefully it was just this one dress and no one else has this problem.. I can always replace the zipper myself. Not everyone has that option though.Other than that, I do recommended this for a modest semi formal special occasion setting. It is a beautiful dress.

So rare, I cannot recall the last time I had such an experience.We’re getting awfully close with this one.AND it’s from Amazon at a low price? Stop.Quick facts about author:Demographic- 40’sBody type- Apple (all bust and belly)Dimensions- Height 5’2 (157cm) Weight 200 (90kg)Fabric: Not too bad. Not too bad at all.Now, I haven’t field tested this dress. Only a try on. No washing experience…Material and seams aren’t a sensory nightmare.The material is synthetic feeling but not bothersome (hot humid might be a problem- when isn’t it?).Stretchy material gives “freedom with structure†vibes. We shall see. You know how things can get floppy. I would be surprised if that was the case here but maybe.Weight is medium.Swingy not clingy.Twirl 8.5/10.Silhouette:Fit and flare adds “shape†to the “shapelessâ€.The shoulder has personality that brings balance.The neckline is Goldilocks sweet- not too high or low, not too wide or tight.Waist is defined and the skirt flows out beautifully.For my body everything lines up right.Reception:Mirror told me I was the fairest of them all.Husband said I looked like a Mennonite.I thought he’d go more mid-century retro housewife, but I get it.*Modest fashion approved!*Last notes:• Pockets are indeed present and adequate.• I slipped it on over my head with no need to fuss about the zipper.• What would I get altered? I could see taking it up to just below the knee.Important disclosure:The color and pattern might have me hypnotized.Is dark navy with reddish-pink pattern the real star here?Would this dress in a solid light color be nearly as magical?I suspect it would not.If money and time were of no consideration I could try on other patterns and let you know with more certainty.Gut instinct tells me this particular pattern is “itâ€.Hence my selection.To each their own!For me, the color/print combo were the most put-together and flattering. I sat on the fence for awhile before buying this dress, which I regret, it’s so nice, I just will never know where they get the fabric as being vintage, never seen anything like it but maybe in lightweight jackets, since I owned a few clothes with this vintage fabric I knew what I was getting. It’s nice and sturdy, and stretchy, but I felt the pockets were too bulky so I took them out, and being petite I shortened it, which was a task because it’s a true full skirt. Being in my 70s I was afraid of it looking too young for me, but I was mistaken, my husband likes it. I bought the navy blue with the reddish orange flower pattern,

I love this dress. Beautiful style. Well-made. But, it's not for someone with wide hips. I ordered a large because I usually wear a size 12. It makes me look bigger than I am.

The package said large. The dress said nothing. No tag, so I don't know if it's a packaging mistake. It fit like a small, thereby making it unwearable. Otherwise it was pretty nice. The fabric is kind of satiny and light. Too bad about the sizing!

I didn't like this dress, poor quality material and I asked for a refund which was impossible to get the refund. They ordered to deliver the item to some place very far from where I live which was goiyto cost me more money. So now I'm stuck with an item which I don't like at all. It's a great loss. Very disappointed. I still need to get my money back but is seems it's impossible
