These linen shams are so soft right out of the package, even on the face (not rough or scratchy). They are 100% linen, made in China, and meet the Oeko-Tex standard. The rust color did not disappoint! For color reference, I have them paired with 100% Egyptian Cotton sheets in the color mustard from Eikei and a vibrant decorative lumbar pillow from World Market.These Simple&Opulence shams in rust exceeded my expectations, with the exception of being made in China. I plan to purchase the entire sheet set in rust and maybe even try out the olive color.I already own a set of natural linen sheets from another brand I purchased on Amazon and they are not as soft even after several washings. Although I still like them - they were my first set of linen sheets to try out; so I really didn’t have anything to compare them to. Now that I have a comparison product, Simple&Opulence sells superior linen and is offered at a fair price point. $25 for a pair of linen shams is a good deal! Also, if you are spending less than $100 on a set of linen sheets (not only shams) the quality drops with price and most likely will be a linen-blend (not 100% linen). Make sure to read the tags attached to confirm materials upon receiving.Linen is perfect for drastically changing climates because it is breathable and temperature regulating. I prefer to use linen during the summer (Texas) but it can be used during cooler weather as well.

I needed extra pillow cases to rotate with my bedding sets and so I took a chance on these. First I want to say I love the grey color. It's a clay grey with earthy under tones and not overly blue as I see in so many other budget bedding and household products. The color is very similar to CB bedding. The texture is more like viscose than linen or cotton but it's very soft and has held up after several washes. I like it enough that I may buy the sheets. It does wrinkle, which doesn't bother me because I like the lived in look, but if your looking for a smooth wrinkle free look these may not be for you.

I chose these to use as pillow shams. I chose them mostly for the color. I have a print duvet cover that I love that is about 15 years old and this ochre color matched well. I’m so weary of gray and that is all you can find in the stores so I looked online. This company had many color choices. These are not especially soft but my purpose was more for decorative; as a sham. They are linen and so wrinkle easily. After washing in warm water & drying on low-medium setting, they will need to be ironed if you want that crisp look. They worked perfectly for me & I feel they were a good value for the money.

Love the look and feel. Shows off the sage green Duvet cover and Eggplant purple sheets. Soft, cool, fits well over queen pillows. Even the wrinkle effect of linen wasn't as bad as I expected.

These shame are so cute! I love the color and the texture. the only small annoyance is the ridge edges tend to get wrinkled and not stay in position, but it is not a huge deal at all. I would absolutely repurchase. I love them!
