I’ve made this pattern twice now for gifts that were a big hit. The first time through took a significant time commitment. The second time through was more reasonable. I’m about to make it a third time with minor adjustments to the size of feet and length of body for my personal preference. It’s a great pattern to learn the elements of a stuffed animal and how it comes together. I embroidered the eyes and nose as they were baby gifts. The directions on how to shape the nose area still confuse me. Otherwise very straight forward. Bring time and patience and you’ll be pleased with the result!

This was my first foray into sewing. The pattern, though not the clearest set of instructions, was clear enough for me to muddle through and create two memory bunnies that I feel quite proud of. I used the smaller size of the bunny pattern (though I did sub in the larger bunny ears) and the bunny came out to about a foot tall and wide when in the sitting position.I felt the pattern was a little unusual in that it directed to leave slits in the back of each limb and stuff everything at the end. I stuffed and attached as I went without any issue and was able to hide more seams that way.It was quite a lot of fun, and I hope these bunnies will be cherished for years to come.

Just follow the instructions. There are 2 different sizes of each. Pictured above is the small. Purchased to make memory bears from my late hubby’s clothes. I wanted a cute bear with floppy arms and legs so his granddaughters could have more fun in playing with him. They love it â¤ï¸ðŸ’•. Made 9 bears in all…. Now thinking of making the bunnies for Easter ðŸ£

The "step by step" instructions were missing lots of steps. Even as a fairly accomplished sewer I found it impossible to follow them and had to work my own way through to a finished product. In all my 60 plus years of sewing I have never come across such a poorly written set of instructions and am extremely disappointed in the Simplicity company for letting this through.
