MY 14 year old granddaughter wanted to make a skirt, and this was the pattern we chose together. It is a simple pattern if you know what you are doing. The instructions are marginal with little help for a brand new sewist. It fits well using the measurements on the back of the pattern. I'm glad to see that Amazon has replaced that image with the correct one. She ended up making the pants and the skirt pretty much all by herself. She said the slit in the skirt was too high and adapted that to fit herself. It includes a nice variety of garments, and she was thrilled with it.

There are no seams in front. I think ther should be pictures of the pattern pieces to indicate how the A line of the skirt is constructed. I did not make the skirt I returned the pattern, looks like it is just a straight skirt to me. Also, it is not a midi skirt it must come full length which is hard to tell from the pircture, and when you read the back of the pattern envelope it says the waist line is to be worn 1" below the waist.....where is that in the picture?
