Works perfectly out of the box on my grand banks trawler. I have a 36 Grand banks and added the AP44 with the NEC-2 computer . Did not have to tweak the unit with commissioning and steers the boat perfectly in all conditions. Make sure you get the NEC-2 computer with it and run thru the setup carefully. I am now instaslling a op-12 unit on the bridge as well. The unit interfaces with a notor drive that was already on the boat with a chain drive that hooks into the wire run system.

I bought a Simrad Auto Pilot from them and it was defective. They send me back all but 20%. I can't them to respond to me. When they do, they have to talk to someone higher up about the difference to be refunded. I am tired of waiting around! If its out of your control, they should refund all of it.

Awesome display for your autopilot! This is not a full autopilot in case you didn't know, just a display. Being able to change your course with the little knob is awesome!
