for the price even if half of them don't work your still ahead. these components are perfect for playing around on breadboards. or for diy projects you have in mind. i wouldn't count on longevity or robustness but for the average diy guy or gal... their a wonderful option. for instance i got these as part of an Arduino based DCC decoder for turnout on a model railroad.
