should have read the review .... not linear at all. it is a digital Hall effect sensor.

I'm not sure how to comment here. A0 gives an HIGH LOW output. DO gives an HIGH LOW output. There is no analog output that i've seen in other units. However I purchased these for a digital read--which they seen to work well with little to no signal bouncing. If you need analog, these are NOT the ones to get, if you need just digital, I find them just fine.Using at Teensy 3.2

Seller claims these have a 49E Linear Hall effect sensor. That is why I bought them - I wanted analog. I already have digital hall sensors. These boards all have the 3144 digital sensor. There is no linear effect with these; the function is as follows: When 5V is applied between + and G pins, AO is at ground potential, and DO is high (5V). When triggered by the magnet, AO goes high and DO goes low. This reversal could be used for something, but it is certainly NOT the linear effect I was looking for.

The male duPont connectors would normally plug into sockets without issue, but I am soldering them into a circuit board. Apparently steel, so solder would not stick using "normal" flux. Acid flux works, but must be cleaned off at end.
