Bought this for my daughters 9th birthday along with a month subscription to the Karafun karaoke app. Talk about this being one of the best purchases, ever!!The mic was charged when we unboxed it, so we were able to pair it and use it right away. The microphone is really simple to use and to pair with your Bluetooth devices. My daughter was able to easily connect it to her Amazon Fire tablet. We like that there are slide switches on the side for echo, volume, bass, etc. (making adjustments easy while singing). The microphone is surprisingly loud and would work for a karaoke party, but it can be quiet enough to not drive me nuts while my daughter is singing on it all day.I recommend the Karafun app because the microphone is really only as fun as the karaoke app you use! Karafun charges a monthly or weekly subscription, but if you’re wanting all the songs under the sun, this is the right app! We love it because you’d be hard-pressed to search for a song and not find it (the database is ginormous), and you can adjust volumes for background and lead vocals, as well as change the key the song is in and the speed at which it’s played. Amazing.We are very satisfied with this purchase!

Its great, so much fun. Its lightweight and looks very appealing,, but only lasted a few hours on the first run before needing a recharge. I also wish you could connect into it if you wanted to.

I originally wrote a review (see below) because this died after just a couple hours and would only work while plugged in. However, I contacted the manufacturer directly and they immediately sent out another one (the day after Christmas) with an additional disco ball even though I purchased it 5 months ago. I am making this a 5 star review now since the microphone is so awesome when it works and their customer service is phenomenal. You can't really go wrong. Thanks Wireless Express!Original review:I bought this in August because it was on sale and saved it for Christmas. The kids opened it and loved it for a few hours and then it stopped working. Too late to return it so it is sadly a waste of $$. Be sure to use it right away and test it out before the return window ends.

Fun! Works great and easy to use. Wish the Bluetooth reached a little further - it's cuts in/out if too far from Ipad/music source.

My girls love this microphone, but it's a little tedious to use. ONly works when singing directly into the middle of the top of microphone. The sides don't work.

My daughter received this as a birthday gift and it was a huge hit! After a lot of use, it broke within the first year of having it and when I called the company to ask about the 1 year warranty, they honored it with no questions asked. I simply shipped back the broken one and they sent the new one within a few days. I highly recommend both the microphone and the company!

Surprisingly great sound out of this microphone. Had originally purchased a bigger, clunkier unit for more money thinking it would be better sound but quickly realized that wasn’t the case. I took a chance on this one after seeing numerous great reviews. I wasn’t disappointed. Would definitely recommend if you’re looking to sing some recreational karaoke.
