I don't even remember buying these but I've had them for six years and they are still like new. They are my go-to scissors for sewing -- both machine and hand. They're perfect for embroidery and applique, too, as they are sharp and precise. The rubber on the handle is ideally placed to reduce fatigue and increase comfort. There is only one other pair in my collection that can compete in quality, and it cost over twice as much as these, and it's not nearly as versatile. I would buy these again, but they're so durable I won't likely need to.

Singer is a make that you can trust, and I go back to the old handle sewing machines! These scissors are fantastic! I have tried so many supposed "good" makes and these have proved to be the best.They are very well made, go to a sharp point, are a good weight and open & close well. (Being a hairdresser, I know the importance and "sound" of an excellent pair of scissors).There's a nylon cord that all other scissors won't cut properly, but these cut beautifully and cleanly.I definitely recommend them!
