My old serger died on me and I wasn't sure if I could get comfortable with another machine. I have always trusted Singer products and this machine was no exception... it's great. The instructions are easy to understand and the color coding make it easy the thread. This machine works great for all of my sewing projects!

I don’t recommend this machine to anyone. I have had this machine for just over 1 years and the needle plate broke. But after ordering 3 needle plates from 3 different places that say they are compatible but turned out to not be. I have reached out to singer themselves and they basically told me they couldn’t help me… so now I have a $200 paper weight

I am very impressed with this machine. Some have complained that it is noisy, but it is no louder than my 25 year old pfaff. The quality is great. The only critique I would offer is that the presser foot lever is in a bit of an awkward position and it doesn't lift the foot very high and there is no built in thread cutter on the side of the machine (very minor issues).

This machine did not work from the minute it came out of the box. Due to being busy and assuming I had re-threaded it incorrectly after the original thread broke, I did not contact Singer until after a 90 day warranty had expired (I assumed there would be a year warranty). I now have to pay to have a brand new machine serviced! I haven't bought a Singer machine in decades because of their poor service and never will again.

Great quality and really easy to use once you take the time to get acquainted with it. I had never used a serger before so it took me a while to understand the differences in features from a regular sewing machine! Keep the manual handy, it’s very helpful in troubleshooting!

Great serger for the price I paid! Works really well. I have completed a few projects and definitely love this machine. Very VERY easy to use. Comes with a DVD to show you how to thread it. Wonderful.
