I thought this would be a quick easy way to replace missing buttons on my shirt. However, the fastener needle is too short to allow the fastener to push all the way through the 15mm round button and the cloth of the shirt. I have used almost half the fasteners trying to make it work. Even watched videos. This is worthless.

The tool arrived with no fasteners and no buttons - nothing else in the box besides paper packing material. Very disappointed, this was an urgent delivery for me.-- UPDATE --Amazon shipped me a replacement immediately, got it next day. Satisfied due to excellent response, updated to 4 star :DOn the tool itself - it works well on thinner clothing (shirts), but on thicker clothing (coats) not as well. I did manage to get 3 of 4 buttons to work on a winter coat, but the 4th just wouldn't work for me.

I bought this and it seems to work ok, would not use it it on a dress shirt as the round protrusions stick out and noticable, and when you need fasteners they are about 8 bucks for 60 of them kinda expensive for plastic

Man I cant sew. This device came in so handy, only used it once and that button is probably more secure than if sewn on. ðŸ‘ðŸ»ðŸ‘ðŸ»
