They are pins and other than they are sharp and well made and well priced, what more can be said? Always just remember, pins are a consumable. Most people don't ever get rid of them but seriously they all need to be replaced as they dull. Which they all will. For the price it is not worth sharpening anymore. And even slightly dull pins affect the product the same as old spices affect the broth. But they all can be re-purposed and not just disposed of. Many things around the house, just don't use them on material when they dull.

I was using some ancient straight pins I had, and they were a pain to insert into the fabric as the small pin head would pierce my skin if not careful. I found these and they are great. they have a nice large pin head to push on and can be seen and removed easily as I sew.

I bought these for a DIY project I was working on -- making solar rings to warm my swimming pool -- and they worked just like I hoped they would! They came in the packaging as show, kind of in a rats nest of each other, but that's okay! They're stick-pins, they're not hard to get undone! ;D Might prick a finger a time or two in the process tho! Yeowch!Anyway, I got a little glass bowl for mine, as the small plastic compartment they come packaged in is pretty tight quarters. Not only that, it's not like there was a way to reseal the packaging once you opened it, so ... unless you wanted to do a Rain Man with the matchsticks and stand there all day, a little glass bowl did the trick!I had zero pin fault.. nothing broke or came apart. The small little pearl at the top of each pin was always there, and always stayed right where it was supposed to! The pins didn't bend (and the material I was using -- irrigation fabric -- wasn't exactly thin, either) or break. For the price I paid for these, I was really happy. Singer is such a great brand. I remember using my grandmother's Singer sewing machine when I was a little girl (ugh, 35 years ago =//), and I loved that thing! It's been a name brand, a household brand for a long long time. I really appreciate the fact that, even today, they're just as reliable. This project has brought back all kinds of wonderful memories.

Forget the cheap versions being sold. Pay a little more and get quality pins. The heads on these are pearlized and easy to grasp because they are larger than the cheapo no name versions that have tiny little round heads on them. These don't break either for no reason. Learned my lesson. Spend a bit more and get quality merchandise.

These are excellent pins with smooth shafts that don't rust or snag on fabric, and good quality "pearl" heads (not like the dollar store ones that chip and peel). Pins are long, and the heads make them easy to grab and remove from fabric while using a sewing machine. Would buy again!

Singer is a reputable company and brand so I was pretty horrified by the quality of the these Pins. It got so bad with the amount I was encountering that were either completely blunt or had burrs on the ends and would snag fabric-that I literally went through them all pressing them into a remnant piece of silk satin. Doing this showed that not only were they blunt or burred and snagging -they also left holes because they were snapping threads of the silk. When finushed I was left with about half that were sharp and ok. Only half of the 120 I paid for. Don’t buy these-buy anything else...as I can not imagine a product less fit for purpose than these Pins.Very exasperating.
